Life insurance pioneer in Liechtenstein

We were one of the first life insurance companies to set up a branch in this location famous for its service industries. Economically speaking, the Principality has close ties to Switzerland, but is at the same time a member of the European Economic Area. This enables it to combine the traditional strengths of the Swiss financial system with the European Union's system of the free exchange of services.

Fortuna stops selling life insurance policies

The legal requirements for life insurance products in the EU countries have changed considerably. As a niche provider, the associated costs are no longer economically viable for us. For this reason, we have stopped marketing life insurance products. Nevertheless, we will continue to offer our existing clients the same excellent quality of service.

Solvency and Financial Condition Report

Under the Solvency II regime, insurance and re-insurance undertakings are subject to a wider review of solvency requirements which are intended to reflect more closely an undertaking’s financial position, business profile and risk management strategy. One of the documents to be produced, on an annual basis, is the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (“SFCR”), that you can download in this section.
